Senior Technician – Facilities & Equipment Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, hands‑on Senior Technician to maintain and improve non‑clinical equipment in a facilities environment. The role offers practical work, problem‑solving and the chance to develop technical expertise alongside engineers and technical officers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned non‑clinical equipment, responding promptly to work requests.
• Document all maintenance activities daily and ensure compliance with safety and WSH standards.
• Support engineers and technical officers in supervising contractors, handling warranty and contracted maintenance work.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and procurement of spare parts for new facilities and equipment.
• Carry out basic fabrication and welding for improvement projects and contribute to equipment reliability initiatives.

Required profile

• NITEC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong safety awareness, reliable work ethic and ability to multitask in a hands‑on environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills and basic computer literacy.
• Willingness to grow into a Technical Officer or engineering support role.
