Senior/Assistant Manager, Centre Grant, Research Office (Contract)

About the role

SingHealth is hiring a Senior/Assistant Manager for its Centre Grant within the Research Office on a contract basis. The role leads the execution and governance of the hospital's Institutional Research Programme, working closely with Principal Investigators and key stakeholders to drive performance, ensure compliance with funding and governance requirements and achieve strategic research objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight of programme implementation, including managing workplans and monitoring research KPIs and funding outcomes
• Identify risks and opportunities, formulate recommendations to improve programme performance and drive stakeholder engagement
• Support institutional reporting and strategic initiatives that strengthen the hospital's research ecosystem and align it with national research priorities

Required profile

• Degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline
• At least 4 years of relevant research administration experience
• Experience with research governance processes, including IRB and ethics requirements, and research methodologies is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Required skills

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess issues, identify risks and develop practical recommendations
• Good written and spoken communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
