Senior/Lead Civil Engineer – Water Projects

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Senior/Lead Civil Engineer to join its Infrastructure business in Singapore. You will work on complex water‑related infrastructure projects, delivering design and project‑management services while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive design and project‑management services for water, roadworks, earthworks, sewerage and drainage projects.
• Perform design calculations, produce sketch drawings, and prepare tender documents and proposals.
• Write, consolidate and review technical reports and studies for water projects.
• Lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup, mentor junior engineers and ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
• Ensure compliance with project design criteria, client briefs, approved concepts and relevant standards.
• Support business development and maintain relationships with local authorities and market stakeholders.

Required profile

• Recognised Civil Engineering qualification (Bachelor or Master’s degree).
• 10‑15 years of professional design experience in civil works, preferably on roads, drainage and sewerage projects for agencies such as PUB, JTC, HDB, URA, LTA.
• Strong knowledge of civil regulations, standards and codes (Euro Design Codes, Singapore Standards, LTA, BCA, PUB).
• Excellent technical writing and presentation abilities.
• Energetic, proactive and reliable attitude.
