Senior/Staff Engineer, FE OCT, MTE PAC

About the role

Micron Technology, Inc. is hiring a Senior/Staff Engineer for its Operations Central Team (OCT) Pump, Abatement and Chiller (PAC) group at Fab 10A. The engineer builds growth mindset, drives improvement on Micron PAC engineering globally, leads the activities to achieve Best-in-Class PAC performance across the network, and works closely with sites to analyse performance-to-plan data.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve PAC business processes, continual improvement projects and BKM alignment, and build metrics linked to strategic objectives.
• Facilitate global peer groups to align strategy and roadmap, share best methods across sites, and review site PAC performance to close gaps.
• Align procedures and define requirements based on technical assessment and lessons learned.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, Capex, cash cost, equipment performance, sustainability, new technology and first-of-a-kind tool enablement, and engage suppliers.
• Develop and improve PAC documentation, including specifications, configurations and process qualification data.
• Prioritise and lead projects, move them through the full lifecycle, motivate partners, define success metrics and share domain knowledge worldwide.
• Respond to issues promptly, manage time and resources effectively, and complete work accurately and on time.

Required profile

• Master's, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant wafer fab experience, preferably in PAC.
• Project management experience is a must.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel.
