SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This part‑time, hourly contract position is a remote role with a fast‑growing AI data services company. You will act as an SEO and digital marketing subject‑matter expert, reviewing and creating AI‑generated marketing outputs, ensuring they meet high standards of accuracy, clarity, brand fit, and strategic relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content, including detailed prompts, content briefs, strategy notes, and optimization analyses.
• Evaluate and rank AI‑generated responses to improve intent matching, correctness, and practical applicability.
• Provide precise written feedback on SEO logic, keyword strategy, on‑page and technical SEO, content structure, measurement, and compliance risks.
• Fact‑check information, spot hallucinated facts or risky claims, and ensure alignment with brand voice.
• Collaborate with the expert network to support future AI training projects as they arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency, or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals, technical SEO, and analytics tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to evaluate writing for clarity, structure, and brand consistency.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and comfortable working across time zones in an hourly remote workflow.
• Previous experience with AI data training, editorial QA, or performance‑marketing review is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, SERP analysis.
• Technical SEO: crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, schema markup.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, dashboard creation, experiment design, attribution analysis.
