Service Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Service Engineer to install, commission, relocate and service semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites, focusing on etch, clean and deposition systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, relocate and service semiconductor equipment, including etch, clean and deposition tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment diagnostics and complex troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with customers and internal technical teams on equipment upgrades, engineering changes and process qualification.
• Maintain detailed service records, technical reports and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with semiconductor wafer‑fabrication equipment, preferably etch, clean or deposition systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience in equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, installation and commissioning.
• Excellent communication skills for customer‑facing technical discussions.
• Willingness to work in cleanroom environments with shift/standby duties.
