Service Technician

About the role

The Service Technician will be responsible for delivering production, service, repair, installation, and commissioning activities for customer‑supplied equipment. This role involves field work, sea trials, and thorough documentation to ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production, service, repair, installation, FAT, field construction, plant commissioning, sea trials, and inspection tasks.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statements, and Permit to Work applications.
• Coordinate procurement of equipment and materials required for each project.
• Engage with customers to clarify installation requirements such as hot work, welding, carpentry, and cable routing.
• Escalate additional customer requirements to management promptly.
• Verify completed work against technical and installation manuals.
• Support preparation of design drawings and documentation to meet technical specifications.
• Detect and document quality issues related to products or services.
• Oversee proper handling and usage of inspection, measuring, and testing equipment.

Required profile

• ITE or Diploma in Electronics, Communications, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
• 2–3 years of relevant experience; candidates with less experience but strong potential are also considered.
• Technical knowledge in servicing, installing, and inspecting electronic systems.
• Familiarity with ISO documentation practices (Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement, Permit to Work).
• Strong emergency response mindset and good customer liaison skills.
• Willingness to undertake shift work.

What we offer

• Monthly salary range of SGD 3,000 – 3,500
