Service Technician – Marine Electronics

About the role

The Service Technician (Marine Electronics) will join a dynamic team supporting marine and offshore operations across Singapore. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and commissioning electronic equipment on vessels and on‑site, ensuring high technical and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, servicing, commissioning, and testing of marine electronic equipment both onboard vessels and on‑site.
• Ensure all work complies with technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Prepare basic documentation and service reports for each job.
• Arrange and use required tools and materials efficiently.
• Coordinate with customers to understand installation requirements and report any issues to management.
• Support basic technical and design tasks when needed.
• Identify and report product or service problems, working closely with the sales team on technical inquiries.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• ITE or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in marine electronics or the offshore industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Installation of electronic systems.
• Repair and troubleshooting of marine electronics.
• Commissioning and testing of equipment.
• Preparation of service documentation.
