Shipping Coordinator – 5-Day Work Week

About the role

We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are keen to build a career in the shipping, logistics and freight forwarding industry. Fresh graduates and candidates without prior shipping experience are welcome to apply. On‑the‑job training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end sea freight operations for import and export shipments.
• Arrange shipment routing orders, cargo acceptance and warehouse transfers for co‑load bookings.
• Handle shipment‑related enquiries from agents and customers, including door delivery and cargo acceptance.
• Follow up on routing orders from nominated agents and manage billing for door delivery shipments.
• Attend to enquiries on cargo transshipment status and provide updated nomination tariffs to agents.
• Liaise with agents and relevant parties to resolve shipment‑related issues and disputes.
• Familiarise yourself with the company’s Quality Management System and ensure its effective application.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior shipping/freight forwarding experience are welcome.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience is an added advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail.
• Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable with data entry and documentation.
