Site Engineer – 1 Year Contract (Convertible)

About the role

The Site Engineer will oversee the technical integrity and operational flow of the installation phase for industrial automation and control systems. Reporting to the Project Engineer/Project Manager, you will be the primary on‑site contact, ensuring installations meet engineering specifications, schedule, and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project quality, delivery timelines, and compliance with Workplace Safety Health (WSH) standards.
• Maintain execution documentation, meeting minutes, and records to support claims and extensions.
• Coordinate with main contractor, consultant, and owner on schedule, site facilities, and change orders.
• Conduct bi‑weekly project meetings and provide progress feedback.
• Review and approve WSH documents such as risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans.
• Collaborate with purchasing, QC, and EHS departments to ensure effective subcontracting.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of site management experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently or within a team.
• Experience working in a culturally diverse environment.

Required skills

• Industrial automation and control system installation.
• Quality Management System (QMS) fundamentals.
• Workplace Safety Health (WSH) compliance, risk assessment, and safety documentation.
