Site Engineer

About the role

The Site Engineer will lead and manage construction projects on‑site, ensuring that work progresses on schedule, meets quality standards, and complies with safety and environmental regulations. This role requires close collaboration with clients, authorities, and consultants while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor all construction activities to achieve project milestones.
• Track work progress with supervisors and staff, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Diagnose and resolve technical and engineering issues to maintain continuity and safety.
• Assist in planning, programming and tracking construction progress for effective project management.
• Liaise with client representatives, relevant authorities and consultants to ensure compliance and smooth communication.
• Identify and assess foreseeable workplace risks and implement measures to minimise environmental impact.
• Enforce safe work procedures and environmental control measures on the construction site.
• Demonstrate flexibility, including willingness to undertake night‑shift duties when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing on‑site construction projects.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and environmental risk mitigation.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
