Social Media Executive (Zula - 6-Month Contract)

About the role

ZULA is looking for a Social Media Executive to grow its social media presence, especially on Instagram and TikTok. The role covers handling social media enquiries, managing casting calls and acting as project manager for social media initiatives. It is a 6-month contract, with possible conversion to a permanent position depending on performance and vacancies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the running of ZULA's social media accounts (Instagram and TikTok)
• Plan content strategy, quality check content, execute content and handle ad-hoc requests from management and the sales team
• Film and edit video content for Instagram and TikTok when needed
• Collaborate with the creative team to produce viral content based on trends and continuously improve it to gain more shares, viewers and followers
• Respond to all social media enquiries, especially casting calls
• Act as project manager for social media-related projects

Required profile

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in social media strategy and management
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
• Proven track record of driving audience engagement and growth on social media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, proactive team player with strong project management and organisation skills

Required skills

• Ability to produce, create and edit short-form content with tools such as CapCut or Adobe
• Understanding of social media metrics and analytics
