Social Media Manager – FinTech Brand

About the role

IG Group, a FTSE100 FinTech leader, is looking for a Social Media Manager to shape its brand presence and drive community engagement across multiple platforms. You will craft compelling, social‑first content that raises awareness, fuels consideration, and deepens connections with our global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the social media strategy on LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Lead content creation, community management, and calendar coordination with content, campaign, and brand teams.
• Design and launch social‑first campaigns that boost awareness and audience engagement.
• Monitor conversations, respond to comments, and nurture community relationships.
• Track performance metrics, analyse insights, and optimise content strategy.
• Manage influencer relationships and social partnerships.
• Ensure all social content complies with financial‑services regulations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform changes, trends, and best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of social media management experience, preferably in B2C or financial services.
• Deep understanding of platform algorithms, content formats, and best practices.
• Proven creative storytelling ability and data‑driven decision making.
• Experience handling crisis situations and sensitive content.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
