The role also supports the Global Facilities Central Engineering, Construction, Line Planning and O&M teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design and construction of regional green-field projects aligned to global standards, working with central sustainability, cost, construction and line-planning teams.
  • Support site projects, Alpha-to-Beta technology transfer and sustainability projects, and review and approve site capacity expansion and sustainability CAPEX.
  • Support site system improvement projects, reliability improvements, quality improvement and equipment end-of-life replacements, and oversee regional efforts such as BCP, critical specs and quality defense lines.

  • Provide site and regional support for global facility initiatives, including on-site presence for construction projects and critical electrical failures.

  • Deploy cost-reduction and energy-use reduction measures, and ensure consistent preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Develop training and certification programs, define metrics (on-time PMs, MTTF, MTTR), and review FIPA/METS events to reduce electrical impact events.
  • Support Micron's sustainability programs, including sustainability project reviews, data monitoring and validation, and best-in-class approaches.
  • Analyze electrical systems studies using design software such as SKM or ETAP, and integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work.

Required profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of experience in electrical systems within the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven experience in construction design, development and engineering for electrical systems, with hands-on involvement in project execution.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, and proven ability to solve problems across multi-functional, multi-cultural groups.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, lead teams to meet challenging deadlines, and to continuously improve systems and processes.
