Staff NPO Product Manager (HBM)

About the role

Micron is hiring a New Product Operations (NPO) Product Manager focused on High Bandwidth Memory (HBM). The role drives planning and execution of the early lifecycle phases of New Product Introduction (NPI) products and supports the enablement of industry-leading HBM products. It ensures alignment across the value chain to achieve predictable manufacturing readiness and a smooth transition to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).

Key responsibilities

• Act as the program operations liaison in core HBM Product Development Teams, covering supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, compliance and logistics, and represent operations in executive reporting forums.
• Take part early in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to address manufacturing operations and enterprise system concerns for new products.
• Maintain ramp schedules and ensure milestones are met for a smooth transition to HVM.
• Oversee sample processes so delivery meets specifications, customer expectations and on-time delivery targets.
• Ensure the product bill of materials complies with Design for Supply Chain and Bill of Material Risk Review guidelines, facilitate risk reviews, assess sourcing strategies and provide operations risk assessments.
• Secure silicon and capacity, enable enterprise systems, manage priorities and remove roadblocks tied to supply-demand balance.
• Provide weekly status reports identifying and mitigating operations-related risks on HBM programs.

Required profile

• 5+ years in NPI, supply chain, manufacturing or operations, preferably semiconductors, with strong cross-functional leadership across engineering, supply chain, procurement and business units.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain or a related field (PMP preferred).
• Deep expertise in end-to-end semiconductor supply chain and PLM/NPI processes, including early lifecycle integration.
• Proven program management and systems capability, managing schedules, milestones and dependencies.

Required skills

• Strong experience in BOM governance, enterprise master data, DfSC and BOM Risk Review.
• Experience with SAP, Kinaxis, supply planning tools, Tableau, SharePoint, HANA and Snowflake.
• Analytical, reporting and leadership skills, including risk assessment, stakeholder management and influencing without authority.
• Ability to leverage generative and agentic AI tools for day-to-day work.
