Staff Nurse I/II

About the role

The Staff Nurse I/II provides comprehensive nursing care in a residential nursing home setting. Working closely with doctors, allied health professionals and the multidisciplinary team, the nurse ensures residents receive safe, high‑quality care according to individualized care plans.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing services that require specialised skills, including medication administration and control‑drug management.
• Collaborate with the resident’s doctor and multidisciplinary team to assess, update and revise care plans.
• Supervise assessments of new admissions and coordinate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Respond to emergencies, take immediate action, and escalate to supervisors when necessary.
• Participate in quality‑assurance activities, audits and staff roster planning.
• Assist in training and development of care staff and contribute to performance appraisals.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (or equivalent).
• Valid SNB registration and Practical Certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• BCLS and AED certification.
• Completed InterRai LTCF Assessment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and able to work 12‑hour rotating shifts.
