Staff Thermal Engineer

About the role

Flex is looking for a Staff Thermal Engineer based in Kallang, Singapore. The company plans to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new independent publicly traded company, Axiom, in Q1 2027; if the spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, which delivers end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of thermal design architecture.
• Perform thermal and acoustic estimation and verification against product requirements.
• Research and implement new thermal technologies for high-density power modules and energy storage products.
• Manage suppliers and handle cross-functional communication.
• Manage technical projects and collaborate with internal teams across the development cycle.
• Work with the design team to resolve trade-offs between thermal and other disciplines such as EMC, SI and PCB design.
• Stay up to date on relevant standards and test methodologies.
• Review the design for thermal strategy and implementation.
