Student Care Teacher (Various Locations, North)

About the role

The Student Care Teacher will deliver engaging lesson content to primary school children (Primary 1 to 6), supervise homework completion, and ensure safe transfers between school and student centre. The role involves regular communication with parents and caregivers to report on academic progress and behaviour.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans that promote understanding and engagement.
• Supervise daily homework activities, fostering academic discipline.
• Manage safe, timely transfers of students from school to the student centre.
• Implement safety protocols to maintain a secure environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about progress and behaviour.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma or WSQ Student‑Care Certification.
• Experience teaching primary school children is preferred, but training will be provided for candidates without experience.
• Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and caregivers.
• Creativity and problem‑solving ability to adapt teaching methods.
• Passion for nurturing children and commitment to their development.
• Excellent work ethics, integrity, and a positive attitude.
