Student Support Officer – Temporary (1 Year)

About the role

The Student Support Officer will work on a one‑year temporary contract to mentor and engage students, helping them develop positive behaviours and academic motivation. You will collaborate closely with school staff, parents and the Discipline Team to create a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one mentoring for students, including those facing behavioural or disciplinary challenges.
• Build trusting relationships that encourage personal growth, motivation and well‑being.
• Plan and deliver motivational talks, engagement activities and character‑development programmes.
• Assist the school in gathering information and handling student discipline matters.
• Conduct after‑school neighbourhood patrols to monitor and engage students when required.
• Work with parents and guardians on issues related to student behaviour and development.
• Support the Discipline Team with administrative and ad‑hoc duties related to student management.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience working with families, children or youth.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Fresh or entry‑level candidate willing to learn and grow in an educational setting.

Required skills

What we offer

• Monthly salary ranging from SGD 2,200 to SGD 2,500.
• Work schedule: Mon‑Wed & Fri 8:30 am‑2:30 pm, Thu 8:00 am‑4:30 pm with a 30‑minute lunch break.
• Location: Boon Lay, Singapore.
