Job description
About the role
The Supply Chain Operations Manager, SEA & JP leads the CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment) process with distributor partners across the South-East Asia and Japan cluster. The role builds reliable data flows and performance metrics, connects distributor plans with General Mills' commercial and supply chain processes, and works closely with internal teams such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service & Logistics, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, COE and Global Business Support.
Key responsibilities
- Own the CPFR process and operating model for the assigned markets and cluster, set ways of working, meeting cadence, roles, decision rights and escalation paths, and run regular joint planning reviews.
- Build distributor planning maturity through standardized routines, data, performance management and joint accountability, and map distributor demand signals to commercial plans, promotions, launches and seasonality.
- Monitor distributor inventory, stock cover, open orders and projected availability, and drive adherence to agreed order placement timelines.
- Manage a 12-month rolling IMS outlook, coordinate recovery plans for stock-outs, excess or slow-moving stock and supply constraints, and escalate risks with owners and timings.
- Maintain dashboards on forecast accuracy, service levels, stock-outs, inventory health and order adherence, set distributor performance baselines and targets, and drive continuous improvement.
- Share best practices across markets and lead through influence across a matrix of distributors and General Mills stakeholders.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Economics or a related field; Master's degree or APICS/IBF certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, customer collaboration, replenishment, logistics or end-to-end supply chain.
- Proven experience with distributor-led markets or distributors managing CPFR across multiple geographies.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority; FMCG or similar demand-volatile environments preferred.
- Fluency in English; applicants must meet minimum age qualifications in the country of employment.
Required skills
- CPFR, S&OP / IBP, forecasting, inventory management and exception-based planning.
- Dashboards covering forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, stock-outs, stock cover, inventory health and order adherence.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability, Excel and planning tools (SAP APO/IBP, OMP).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
