Warehouse Associate (PIV)

About the role

Cummins is hiring a Warehouse Associate (PIV) for its Pandan Ave site in Singapore. This is an onsite role where, under supervision, you receive, handle, store and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse setting.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, check them for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices
• Sort, label, store and arrange goods to optimise warehouse space
• Pick, pack and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal orders
• Follow HSE standards, use personal protective equipment and report injuries, incidents and hazards
• Follow quality procedures, perform quality checks and control non-conforming material
• Work at the required cycle time, keep the work area clean and maintain equipment
• Communicate with the team, complete required training and take on other duties as needed

Required profile

• At least 2 years of forklift driving experience or experience as a PIV driver
• Ability to lift up to 15 kg and to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Able to read and write simple English
• Basic computer knowledge
• No cross-border relocation required

Required skills

• Certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet riders) and/or other heavy machinery
• RF gun scanner operation
• Identification, packing, putaway, picking and shipping
• Slotting and inventory record keeping
