Supply Chain Support Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Support Executive to manage procurement, logistics coordination, inventory control and quality issue resolution for our optical precision manufacturing operations. The role supports cost‑effective initiatives and ensures smooth supply‑chain processes across suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Generate purchase orders (PO) to suppliers after PRF approval
• Maintain and update the supplier master database
• Perform Goods Received Note (GRN) upon receipt of supplier delivery orders
• Resolve quality issues with suppliers
• Work with suppliers and vendors on cost‑reduction initiatives while ensuring quality standards
• Reconcile supplier invoices (excluding substrates/raw material) for month‑end payments
• Keep document records before disposal
• Coordinate external delivery arrangements with APP Systems Logistics team
• Monitor consumables safety stock and perform re‑ordering as needed
• Assist the Logistics in‑charge with mid‑year and year‑end Management Review Meeting data consolidation
• Support annual stock‑take and audit exercises
• Assist Planner/Buyer with production inventory and material planning and control
• Monitor suppliers' On‑Time Delivery (OTD) and provide performance updates
• Assist project coordination on logistical aspects such as equipment consignment and return
• Perform any other tasks as assigned

Required profile

• Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing or freight industry

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email)
• Hands‑on experience with an ERP system or similar supply‑chain software
