System Analyst – Technical Lead for Equities Trading

About the role

The role combines technical leadership with system analysis for the bank’s equities trading platforms. You will guide the design, development and delivery of OMS/EMS solutions while ensuring alignment with market workflows and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirement analysis and functional design for equities trading systems such as OMS and EMS.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories and BRDs.
• Collaborate with front‑office, trading desks, operations and risk teams to ensure solutions meet regulatory and scalability requirements.
• Oversee end‑to‑end functional integration across trading, middle‑office and back‑office platforms, including FIX and API interfaces.
• Drive delivery using both waterfall and Agile (Scrum) methodologies, coordinating with architects, developers, QA and infrastructure teams.
• Support SIT/UAT phases, validate test cases and ensure traceability from requirements to production.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 8 years in software development, system analysis and technology upgrades.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience with equities and FX trading systems, market data platforms and cloud‑based SaaS solutions.
• Strong track record of leading IT delivery teams and managing large‑scale, high‑availability projects.
