Systems Administrator – Singapore

About the role

This is a hands‑on, office‑based Systems Administrator position supporting a global quantitative investment business in Singapore. The role blends direct user assistance with infrastructure administration, troubleshooting and project work across Windows and UNIX environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person support for PC hardware, peripherals, software deployments, mobile‑device management, videoconferencing, AV equipment and trading‑floor technology.
• Collaborate with global teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve technical and non‑technical issues.
• Support Windows PCs and servers, UNIX servers, mobile devices and communications infrastructure.
• Investigate complex incidents, administer infrastructure‑level systems and contribute to automation and efficiency improvements.
• Occasionally perform data‑centre tasks and travel to Hong Kong or Shanghai as needed.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows enterprise environments and Microsoft 365.
• Practical experience in systems administration covering hardware, software, desk‑side, trading‑floor, AV and remote‑user support.
• Excellent analytical, research and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Availability to work on‑site Monday‑Friday with occasional overtime, weekend assignments and travel.
