Systems Engineer

About the role

The Systems Engineer will provide daily support for a wide range of IT systems, including software, networks, servers and end‑user devices. Working from client sites and travelling to multiple locations as needed, you will ensure reliable operation of both on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support via helpdesk, remote assistance and onsite visits.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and wireless networks across office and store locations.
• Administer server environments (Windows, AWS) covering DNS, Active Directory, DHCP, domain controllers and cloud services.
• Deploy and manage hardware such as servers, virtual machines, storage appliances, routers, firewalls and switches.
• Lead infrastructure deployment projects and contribute to design of solutions based on technical requirements.
• Monitor system and network performance, apply change, incident and problem management processes, and produce regular operational reports.
• Implement security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS and access policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in a Windows environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
