Tax Director – APAC

About the role

Digital Edge DC is seeking a senior tax professional to lead its APAC tax function from Singapore. Reporting to the Group VP, FP&A & Treasury, the Head of Tax will shape tax strategy during a period of rapid capital deployment and regional expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute tax‑efficient structures for acquisitions, joint ventures and project financings across Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, India, Korea and other target markets.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development, Treasury and Legal to ensure every dollar is deployed under a defensible tax framework.
• Build and maintain a multi‑jurisdictional transfer pricing model covering financing, services, IP and cost allocations.
• Identify and secure data‑centre specific tax incentives, such as pioneer schemes, ITC, regional headquarters incentives and withholding tax relief.
• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, manage audits, controversies and relationships with revenue authorities.
• Develop the regional tax team, processes, technology platforms and external advisor network.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate tax, preferably within infrastructure, real‑asset or data‑centre environments.
• Proven track record of leading tax strategy for cross‑border transactions and multi‑entity groups.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with exposure to senior leadership, boards and investment committees.
• Ability to operate in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
