Tax Manager

About the role

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a Tax Manager based in Singapore to oversee tax, audit and regulatory compliance for its bottling entities across South East Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as its holding companies in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting, audit and tax compliance reporting for Singapore holding entities, including corporate income tax computation and filing.
• Work with Company Secretarial teams to document Board meetings and meet Singapore economic substance requirements.
• Develop policies for co‑packing and shared‑services arrangements, evaluate centralized vs. decentralized models, and propose tax‑efficient locations.
• Oversee tax matters of bottling operating units in SE Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan, review corporate tax returns and coordinate with external advisors during audits.
• Advise stakeholders on tax implications of M&A, group projects and regulatory changes, and design mitigation strategies.
• Support the Swire Pacific Group Tax team with data collection for GloBE Information Returns and Domestic Minimum Top‑up Tax Returns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent tax qualification preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of tax advisory and compliance experience, preferably with an international audit firm or multinational FMCG company.
• Knowledge of centralized and decentralized shared‑service centre models and related transfer‑pricing mechanisms in China Mainland, Hong Kong and South‑East Asia.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; fluency in English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
