Team Lead, Corporate Banking

About the role

The Team Lead, Corporate Banking will head a group of corporate bankers, driving growth across lending and transaction banking. This senior position focuses on delivering risk‑adjusted returns while maintaining strong credit quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of corporate bankers to achieve growth targets in lending and transaction banking.
• Manage the overall portfolio P&L with emphasis on sustainable, risk‑adjusted revenue.
• Partner with coverage teams to originate and execute complex financing solutions, including M&A advisory, capital markets, treasury, and transaction banking.
• Oversee end‑to‑end credit processes: structuring, approvals, documentation, and ongoing monitoring.
• Maintain high credit quality and adhere to regulatory governance standards.
• Build and deepen client relationships to deliver tailored financial solutions.
• Collaborate across internal teams and the bank’s global network to unlock client opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified; experience managing GLCs and large corporates is highly advantageous.
• 10–15 years of experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking with exposure to lending, trade finance, global markets, loan syndication, DCM, leveraged finance, or M&A.
• Proven leadership track record with strong credit and financial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to lead deal teams.
• Strategic thinker, self‑driven, and commercially astute.
• Strong team player with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively.
