Team Lead – Deal Desk (Enterprise)

About the role

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic leader to join our global Deal Desk team in Singapore. As a Team Lead, you will manage a lean group of commercial lawyers who negotiate contracts with enterprise customers and act as a trusted advisor to senior commercial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a high‑caliber team of commercial lawyers handling complex, multi‑jurisdictional agreements.
• Provide strategic, business‑oriented legal advice to senior stakeholders across sales, account management, product, and regulatory teams worldwide.
• Serve as the primary escalation point, guiding risk‑based decisions on complex legal issues and proposing improvements to mitigate exposure.
• Drive legal automation and process improvements to scale the team and increase negotiation efficiency.
• Advise on contract interpretation, early‑stage customer disputes, and other commercial matters while ensuring consistent global standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years of legal experience, either in‑house or at a law firm, with a strong background in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and developing lawyers or other legal professionals.
• Commitment to building diverse teams where every member can thrive.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey purpose and reasoning to both legal and commercial audiences.
• Ability to structure and prioritize work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment and drive processes to completion.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and available to work from the Singapore office.
