Team Leader – Commercial Banking Cash

About the role

The Team Leader will head a group of Business Banking Managers within Commercial Banking Cash, driving acquisition performance and overall business objectives. You will be accountable for team KPIs, pipeline management, coaching, and maintaining rigorous sales and due‑diligence standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Business Banking Managers to achieve corporate account acquisition targets.
• Monitor individual and team performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee sales pipelines, ensuring lead progression, conversion and new business opportunities.
• Coach managers on sales management, customer acquisition and AML/due‑diligence requirements.
• Ensure onboarding customers meet AML and due‑diligence standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and local/overseas channel partners to enhance referral flows.
• Resolve complex customer, onboarding, operational and business issues.
• Develop and drive sales strategies, lead business projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of banking/financial services experience with a strong track record in corporate or Business Banking acquisition.
• University degree.
• Sales management experience, preferably leading a sales team.
• Strong leadership, people‑management and coaching abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• AML compliance and due‑diligence expertise.
• Sales pipeline management.
• In‑depth knowledge of Business Banking products and corporate account onboarding.
