Technical Program Manager – Chip Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the end‑to‑end development of our next‑generation SSE chips. You will work closely with R&D leaders and cross‑functional teams to translate customer requirements into successful silicon products ready for mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short, medium and long‑term chip development roadmaps in partnership with R&D, balancing customer needs and resource constraints.
• Own the full development lifecycle: specification finalisation, design, simulation, technical reviews, tape‑out, fabrication and silicon validation.
• Establish and continuously improve review checkpoints, documentation standards and templates.
• Identify technical and delivery risks, coordinate mitigation plans and drive timely resolution across teams.
• Manage MPW prototype validation, oversee NTO tape‑outs and monitor performance to support transfer to mass production.
• Resolve chip‑related issues raised by customers and internal product teams.
• Communicate validation results and development outcomes to R&D and product management, feeding back into chip‑platform improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in chip development and 3 years in chip‑development project management.
• Strong understanding of the chip development lifecycle from specification through to production readiness.
• Excellent analytical, planning and risk‑management capabilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
