Technician – Mechanical & Electrical Assembly

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Technician to join its Singapore operations. The role involves performing mechanical and electrical assembly tasks in a clean‑room environment for photonic products.

Key responsibilities

• Execute mechanical and electrical assembly processes according to the Assembly Process Sheet.
• Clean and assemble lenses per customer requirements.
• Work in a clean‑room, adhering to all clean‑room protocols.
• Conduct electrical and electronic tests following test instructions.
• Maintain accurate WIP inventory records and manage kitting distribution.
• Package finished products for shipment and handle ad‑hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• GCE ‘O’ Level or Technical Certificate (or higher).
• More than 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and on rotating shifts if needed.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
