Technician (Store / Receiving Inspector)

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defence company, is hiring a Technician (Store / Receiving Inspector) in Singapore. The role involves inspecting engine and aircraft components, following up defect reports and paperwork, and supporting supervisors in meeting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect engine and aircraft components according to engine manuals and raise travelers for repairable components.
• Follow up on Engineering Inquiry, Defect Reports and Tasklogs to close paperwork.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during daily operations to keep workflow efficient.
• Support supervisors in achieving production and operational targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying service orders.
• Take part in EH&S programmes and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance.

Required profile

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in engine or module assembly, disassembly, inspection or testing.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and manuals.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and hands-on, proactive and eager to learn.
• Willing to work rotating day and night shifts and commit to overtime when required.

Required skills

• Preferred: technical experience in Engine MRO or the aerospace industry.
• Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
