Technology Development Engineer

About the role

GlobalFoundries is a full-service semiconductor foundry offering design, development and fabrication services. It is hiring a Technology Development Engineer in Singapore to develop process flows and recipes that meet product requirements for performance, reliability and defect-free manufacturing. The role can be performed as an individual contributor or as a manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop process flows and process recipes to meet product requirements for performance, reliability and defect-free manufacturing
• Ensure methods and processes are in place to test the devices and structures being developed
• Develop and implement process control and inspection methods so products are free of flaws and work as designed
• Analyze reports and defective products to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
• Freeze developed processes in preparation for manufacturing
• Carry out all activities safely and responsibly, supporting Environmental, Health, Safety and Security requirements
• Collaborate on other projects and assignments as needed

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics, or BEng (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Material Sciences) or BSc (Physics/Chemistry) or higher
• 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
