Technology Project Lead, Asia Markets Technology, Vice President

About the role

Citi is looking for a Technology Project Lead (Vice President level) within Asia Markets Technology, based in Singapore. The role focuses on in-country business-critical and strategic technology projects, including regulatory matters and action plans. It works closely with in-country market technology leads, Asia Markets Technology product leads and regional senior management, and serves as a key execution partner for the Head of Asia Markets Technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop IT work plans, schedules, resource plans, risk and issue management and status reports for in-country strategic technology programs across Asia Markets Technology.
• Interface with senior project staff and client senior management on project status, prepare and coordinate content for management meetings, leadership forums and governance reviews, and follow up on actions and commitments.
• Produce high-quality presentations, executive summaries and briefing materials for senior management.
• Work with in-country technology leads on local matters, coordinating stakeholders on priorities, regulatory commitments and delivery status.
• Support tracking and management of in-country regulatory issues and action plans in line with Citi's policies and standards.
• Recommend and oversee process improvements, evaluate complex business and system processes and industry standards, and leverage AI tools and modern ways of working to improve productivity.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and escalate and report control issues transparently.

Required profile

• 6-10 years of experience in a related technology role, with a background in software development or engineering strongly preferred.
• Proven technology program management experience, ideally in financial services or capital markets, with exposure to in-country regulatory and strategic delivery contexts in Asia.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is potentially advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce executive-level presentations and materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and comfort in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
