Trade Execution Supervisor

About the role

A recruiter representing a well-established commodity trading organisation with more than 50 years of history is looking for a Trade Execution Lead based in Singapore. Reporting to the Manager, you will lead a team of five people.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of five so that trades are executed efficiently, with contracts management and planned execution lapses minimised and managed.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to make sure execution risk solutions are in place.
• Drive process improvements to increase productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related business field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the commodity trading sector.
• Strong track record of managing high-performing teams.
• Solid experience in international trade of bulk cargo.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead by example.
