Transport Officer – Logistics & Transport

About the role

The Singapore Police Force Training Command is seeking a Transport Officer to provide essential administrative support for transportation and vehicular training operations. You will work closely with internal customers, vehicle agents, and external workshops to ensure the police fleet remains operational and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the maintenance of the police vehicle fleet, including arranging services with external workshops.
• Activate and manage round‑the‑clock emergency breakdown services such as towing and onsite recovery.
• Process financial transactions related to transport activities within stipulated timeframes.
• Handle a high volume of transport requests while maintaining audit accountability.
• Collaborate with the Police Logistics Department to align transport planning with operational needs.

Required profile

• Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfortable managing a large number of requests.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time‑management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in logistics or transport is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with SAP programmes (preferred).
