Vice President, Business Management – Global Markets Division

About the role

The Vice President, Business Management will act as a strategic partner to the President/Head of the Global Markets Division, driving governance, performance oversight and operational control across all core market lines and subsidiaries. This senior role combines strategic planning, risk stewardship and financial governance to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and 3‑year planning while providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Oversee performance management frameworks, target setting, tracking and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Act as the division’s risk steward, promoting strong risk awareness, governance and compliance across subsidiaries, joint ventures and partnerships.
• Provide governance, risk and compliance oversight, including outsourcing, risk assessments, incident management and business continuity planning.
• Ensure financial performance oversight, revenue and cost management, expense and procurement compliance, and financial close processes.
• Strengthen middle‑office controls, manage critical operational processes such as invoicing and onboarding/off‑boarding, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; professional qualifications preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, preferably with exposure to markets or derivatives.
• Proven ability to operate at a strategic level while maintaining attention to detail and execution discipline.
• Commercially aware, analytically strong leader with sound judgment.
