Vice President – Currencies Emerging Markets Trading

About the role

Join a dynamic trading floor as Vice President of the Currencies Emerging Markets Trading team. You will lead market strategies, manage risk and liquidity, and build client relationships across EM Asia Rates, FX, and Credit products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead trading activities in EM Asia Rates, FX, and Credits, overseeing pre‑trade analysis, execution and post‑trade processes.
• Apply expertise in rates volatility markets (Asia and/or G10) to improve pricing, risk management and product capabilities.
• Develop and execute market strategies based on deep market analysis and cross‑asset implications.
• Maintain compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive revenue generation while balancing risk and client needs.
• Mentor Associates and junior traders, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing team culture.
• Collaborate with senior management to refine trading strategies and support business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or financial services with significant expertise in EM Asia Rates, FX, or Credit trading.
• Proven track record in risk management, trade execution and revenue generation in global markets.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive under competitive pressure and deliver client‑focused solutions.

Required skills

• Rates volatility trading (options, structured rates products, vol‑driven strategies).
• FX and Credit product knowledge.
• Deep understanding of risk management and fixed‑income fundamentals.
