Vice President, Investment Banking

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President to lead origination and execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions across Southeast Asia. The role involves building detailed financial models, performing valuation analyses, and coordinating with deal teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead origination and execution of M&A/strategic advisory transactions.
• Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and capital structures.
• Perform financial and valuation analyses using multiple methodologies.
• Cover regional market in Southeast Asia and prepare presentation materials for client meetings.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge on clients and targets.
• Research and analyse markets, industries and companies using reports and other sources.
• Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the bank and with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 6‑10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance or M&A.
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high‑intensity environment.
• Strong work ethic, independent with minimal supervision.
• Detail‑oriented with solid financial analysis skills.
• Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Basic accounting and finance knowledge.
