Video Producer - YouTube Content

About the role

TheSmartLocal is looking for a Video Producer to join its team in the Kallang Bahru office in Singapore. The role helps raise the quality of content produced and keeps the core brand identity and content direction for the channel on YouTube. You will oversee content creation, make sure it fits the brand values, and apply best practices for video production and storytelling, while growing channel traffic and subscribers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualisation, filming and post-production of advertising and promotional videos.
• Ensure at least one video segment for TheSmartLocal goes smoothly from filming to editing and upload.
• Develop and execute a structured video content plan with the team leads, brainstorming and researching original concepts aligned with business goals, audience engagement and advertiser objectives.
• Quality-check all YouTube content before upload and manage resources, including freelancers and external partners.
• If assigned, work with the Assistant YouTube Manager to handle client briefs, liaise with the Client Services Team on timelines and deliverables, and solve production and logistical issues with the Client Servicing Team.
• Optional: appear in media content when required, help with logistics such as carrying equipment, and take on ad-hoc tasks.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in video producing.
• Familiarity with production processes.
• Able to shoot and edit photos and videos.
• Strong communication skills.
