VP / Director, KYC for Private Wealth Management

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head the Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) function for our Private Wealth Management (PWM) division. The role combines strategic oversight, regulatory liaison, and hands‑on compliance expertise to protect the firm and its high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end client lifecycle compliance for low to high‑risk accounts, including enhanced due diligence at onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Provide expert advisory to Relationship Managers and senior leadership on complex AML/CFT issues, sanctions, and tax‑transparency regulations (CRS/FATCA).
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulators on high‑risk portfolios and audit inquiries.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and frameworks tailored to sensitive client segments.
• Serve as a voting member or key advisor on the Client Acceptance Committee, making high‑stakes decisions on reputation and regulatory risk.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ICA, ACAMS are highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 + years of Customer Due Diligence experience within Private Banking.
