Ward Service Associate Executive

About the role

JurongHealth Campus, comprising Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital, is looking for a Ward Service Associate (WSA) Executive. The role works within the WSA team to uphold high service standards and deliver excellent patient care, collaborating closely with the ward supervisor and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Help manage and maintain adequate ward stock and supplies to support efficient ward operations.
• Oversee the deployment and scheduling of Ward Service Associates within the wards.
• Supervise WSAs so that patients' nutritional and dietary needs are met according to established guidelines.
• Take direction from the supervising officer, department head or operations lead to support operational and service excellence.
• Lead and take part in quality improvement initiatives to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.
• Act as a project manager or equivalent to oversee nursing-related projects from planning to implementation.
• Support nursing-related events, including planning, coordination, execution and follow-up.
• Carry out other ad hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification; fresh graduates are welcome and preferred.
• Strong service mindset, excellent service skills and keen attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, independent, proactive and resourceful, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities and leadership potential.
• Cooperative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build positive working relationships with the Nursing team and collaborate with staff at all levels.
