Warehouse & Logistics Associate

About the role

The Logistics Associate will coordinate routing, freight consolidation and system metrics while ensuring smooth movement of materials from origin to manufacturing sites and ultimately to customers and dealers. This position operates within a global equipment manufacturer and supports both inbound and outbound logistics functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse activities, including storage, handling, housekeeping and accurate stock records in ERP/WMS.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders, arrange bookings with carriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS) and handle documentation such as BL instructions, ETD/ETA updates.
• Prepare import/export paperwork, ensure compliance with SEA region shipping practices, and maintain customs records.
• Enter and maintain data in ERP/WMS systems, generate operational reports and support cross‑functional teams for customs clearance.
• Source freight rates when required and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in third‑party logistics, freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight documentation and legislation (MSDS, DGD, B/L, DOT CFR 49, IMDG, FMC, INCOTERMS).
• Customer‑centric attitude, able to work both independently and within a team.
• Experience in inventory management and solid administrative abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
