Welder - Gas Turbine Component Repair

About the role
This welder role covers all types of welding and metal fabrication work, from simple to complex jobs, performed according to Work Instructions. It reports to the Operations Leader.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and perform TIG welds on high-temperature alloys during the repair of HA gas turbine components
- Carry out blending repairs of HA gas turbine components
- Ensure product quality, equipment care, production output and pace, housekeeping and schedules
- Follow all applicable EHS rules and regulations and report immediately any unsafe practices or conditions
- Carry out other duties as assigned
Required profile
- Completed secondary level or higher education
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field
- Candidates with NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or TIG welding experience are preferred
- Basic command of English (speak and read)
- Able to work rotating shifts
