Workplace Safety & Health Trainer

About the role

The company is seeking a qualified Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Trainer to deliver safety training across Singapore. The role involves preparing trainees on the safe use of various equipment and supporting the training department.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safety training for trainees covering Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, Vertical Personnel Platform), Forklift operation and Scaffold usage.
• Assist the training department with related training activities and coordination.

Required profile

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) with at least 5 years of relevant worksite experience, preferably in construction, machinery operation or scaffolding.
• ACTA/ACLP certification for facilitation; additional advantage for Code of Ethics for WSH Trainers certificate.
• Willingness to conduct weekend training sessions and ability to deliver training in English and/or Mandarin, Tamil, Hindi, Bengali or Thai.

Required skills

• Operation of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP) such as Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts and Vertical Personnel Platforms.
• Forklift operation.
• Scaffolding erection and safety procedures.
