Account Management Associate (Corporate Sales)

About the role

Singapore Airlines is hiring an Account Management Associate for its Singapore Sales (Corporate Sales) team, within the Sales & Marketing Division. The successful candidate will manage corporate accounts and contribute to their revenue performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the revenue performance of assigned corporate accounts and understand their travel policies and needs (key routes, travel class, price sensitivity)
• Prepare account plans, run regular reviews with corporate accounts and ensure they commit to agreed targets
• Propose and run interventions such as discount levels, net pricing and soft benefits to drive performance
• File sales reports and action plans in the Sales Management Tool (SMT)
• Build relationships with corporate travel managers, procurement staff and key influencers, and create brand affinity with corporate travelers and their travel arrangers
• Coordinate performance reviews and interventions with Global Account Managers for global corporate accounts, and work with travel management companies (TMCs)
• Organize corporate engagement events and participate in corporate RFPs and negotiations
• Represent the airline at industry events, trade shows and fairs, and meet, present and sign up new accounts from TMC leads and referrals
• Gather market intelligence on competitors in the corporate segment and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Diploma in any discipline
• Prior experience in the aviation industry is an advantage
• Customer-focused and results-focused
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
