Accountant / Accounting Executive – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Singapore Accountant to provide comprehensive accounting, bookkeeping, tax compliance and financial reporting services for our international client base. The role involves handling full sets of accounts, preparing statutory filings and advising clients on Singapore‑specific regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts for Singapore entities, including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliation and month‑end closing.
• Provide bookkeeping and accounting services to international and foreign‑invested clients operating in Singapore.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Prepare and submit GST returns, corporate income tax computations, Estimated Chargeable Income and annual tax returns.
• Assist clients with accounting, tax registration, payroll, CPF and related compliance matters.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, banks and government authorities.
• Review client documents, invoices, expense claims and bank statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate with overseas clients and headquarters on accounting progress, document requirements and deadlines.
• Provide professional advice on Singapore accounting and tax compliance based on client activities.
• Support internal process development and improve service standards, templates and procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in Singapore, handling full sets of accounts and tax compliance.
• Experience serving international, multinational or foreign‑invested clients is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, GST, corporate income tax, CPF and statutory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English with professional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with cloud‑based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB.
