Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

The Accountant will support the Head of Finance by delivering accurate financial reporting, month‑end closing, and compliance for multiple entities. The role ensures timely and reliable financial information for internal decision‑making and external audit.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for several entities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow monitoring and variance analysis.
• Compile audit schedules, financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.
• Produce consolidated unaudited financial statements for the holding company and its overseas subsidiary.
• Handle GST submissions and support partnership and corporate tax filings.
• Manage company secretarial and regulatory compliance matters.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and support group financial reporting.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
• Execute ad‑hoc finance tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree in accountancy, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in external audit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting.
