Accountant – Financial Reporting & Controllership

About the role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their fast‑growing finance team in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in establishing a robust controllership function and driving continuous improvement across financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial accounting and controlling duties in line with international accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with regional statutory reporting and tax regulations.
• Manage external audit processes and coordinate tax compliance activities.
• Research and resolve accounting issues, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Strengthen, implement, and enforce internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Contribute to business maturity projects through operational and technological enhancements.

Required profile

• More than three years of relevant experience in financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
• High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and professional discretion.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
